Shipping Information

All products are shipped from Hong Kong using the shipping method of your choice. If you have the patience surface mail is the best value but takes between 4 and 6 weeks. Air mail takes about 1 week but costs about 3.5 times as much to most destinations. Recently there has been some unpredictability with delivery times for postal service, both and surface. While cheaper in some cases, there is no tracking and the post office will only initiate tracing after 2 or three months. In some cases other countries may not be cooperative about forwarding tracing information. Parcels rarely go missing, but delays are not uncommon. If you need tracking, or the shipment is urgent, Fedex or Speedpost will always get it there in 2 to 4 days, most countries.

** Important Note re Duties and Taxes**

All kits and tubes ship from DiyHiFiSupply in Hong Kong by specified shipper (usually Fedex, but surface or airmail if required). Depending upon the destination of the order and its value you still may be liable for import duty and/or local vat in your country when the unit arrives. This can be hit and miss and at times you may not be charged. Items of lower value tend not to be charged duty but the more expensive kits can be. If you are not charged duty it is up to you to make arrangements to pay any required duty and taxes to comply with the laws of your country. DiyHiFiSupply cannot be held responsible for duty and vat payments you may need to pay at import since this is imposed in your country when the unit arrives and not at the country of posting. If you fail to pay your duty fees, if required and asked at the time of import, then failure to comply with the tax laws of your country means that the unit gets returned to DiyHiFiSupply at extra costs due to handling and re-shipping fees. Therefore you would not be entitled to a full refund but only a partial refund. If in doubt, it is always best to budget for a possible duty/vat fee at the time of purchase just in case you are charged.

Purchase Policies

Products purchased through resellers of DIY Hifi Supply Ltd products are supported by the reseller only. Please direct all inquiries to the reseller. Any such inquiries we receive will be redirected to the reseller. Any issues of support, warranty and product delivery that arise are between the customer and the reseller. We will reasonably do our best to support the reseller on resolving these issues.

Kit's and assembled kits cannot be returned for a refund. This is for your protection so you are assured of getting a brand new, unused kit that has not been misused by someone else. Defective parts will be replaced by diyhifisupply provided they are returned within 30 days of purchase and confirmed defective and not abused or mis-used. Tubes are guaranteed for 12months. All other major components in the kits such as transformers and chokes are guaranteed for one year. See 'terms and conditions' for detailed statement of policy.
