By keeping the Xmax to 14 mm p-p and using a well-damped non-flexing alloy cone, rigid aluminum basket together with a powerful motor, the Dyna-fone is able to keep up with the fastest open baffle or wide range drivers like the Ciare and Neo-fone but still have serious usable grunt down to 25hz.. You can see from the impedance plot that there are no nasties above 2k and smooth response below. The attached measurement graphs were taken at the factory in an anechoic chamber BUT, as the factory is wont to do, with totally green drivers. We'll take some TSP measurements on a run-in pr in a week or two. As the spider and surround loosen expect the Fs to go down a bit and efficiency / VAS to go up a bit.
