Question A2: How do I know the shipping cost? Do you do combined shipping?

When you check out, it automatically calculate shipping cost to popular destinations. We have a shipping cost table but it's mainly for amplifier. We are making a more complete list. Once it's done, we will post it.

We do combined shipping. Please inquire by email.

 

Question A3: How much is a fast shipping? How can I upgrade it?

Fedex or EMS cost around $15-25 extra for small parts. Please inquire by email.

 

Question A4: What is your warranty policy?

TJ and VA tubes: 12 months warranty provided that the defective products return to us for testing. If parts are defective not because of misuse, we will cover the shipping cost of the replacement. We cannot list out all imaginable situations. Our principle is that we are responsible to ship you fully tested and working products with sufficient packing.

 

Question B1: If I order now, when will I receive my order?

Small parts are shipped by post office airmail. It usally take 1 to 2 weeks to deliver but it varies, depending on the work load of post office, the customs clearance process, and the efficiency of the local post office team. Delay can happen. If you have tight deadline, please go for more stable shipping method like EMS, Fedex etc.

 

Question B2: Will I have a tracking number?

Yes, we always send tracking number when your order is shipped. If you don't receive any tracking number, please feel free to contact us.

 

Question B3: I like to order but I am afraid that my parcel will be lost or damaged during shipment. Is it safe to send out order by mail?

According to our records, chance to lost a small letter is far below 0.1%. We never lose any big parcel. Parcel can be delayed but eventually it will show up. If you think your country is not secured, we can send your parcel with insurance.

 

Question B4: Do I still need to pay duty and VAT?

There's no export duty or VAT in Hong Kong. If your country special requirement of declaration, please feel free to let us know by emial.

 

Question B5: I received a tracking number. How do I track it?

Question B6: I placed an order and paid few weeks ago but still have not received any delivery. What shall I do?

First, we usually ship out orders in 1-5 working days after payment is confirmed. We have tracking number for every shipment, and our shopping cart emails tracking number automatically. If you haven't received any tracking number from us, please contact teresa@diyhifisupply.com.

Unless you paid extra, most parts are shipped by Hong Kong Post airmail which usually takes 10 - 21 days to deliver, however, occasionally it takes longer time because of Customs delay or unsuccessful attempt of delivery etc. When you track your parcel (note 1) online through hongkongpost.com, usually it only shows the departure date and nothing else because Hong Kong Post usually doesn't not receive updated information from the destination post office. If it shows more details, you are fortunate but please don't expect it for every shipment. (note 2)

Sometimes the parcel is delayed because it get stuck in your local post office. You can try to inquire your post office with the reference number we gave you. They may be willing to check for you. If your local post office doesn't respond, at this stage we recommend you to wait for a while because in most cases you will receive the parcel anytime. Your patience will save you time from chasing the post office.

Six weeks after the date of shipment, if you still haven't received the parcel, and you wish to inquire Post Office to investigate and to locate your parcel, please let us know. Post office will inform us the result of their investigation after 1-3 month. Yes it's a long process, and most of the time the parcel will finally be delivered before we have any reply from Post Office. Post office airmail may delay shipment but it very rarely lost parcels.

(2) According to hongkongpost.com, the following countries provide tracking information for parcels shipped from Hong Kong. If you country is not listed below, it means your local post office doesn't provide you any tracking information.

Question C1: Can I pay with my credit card? I don't have a paypal account and I don't want to regiser a new one.

Yes, our shopping cart is intergrated with credit card payment gateway. Though it shows the word "paypal", it actually means paypal is the company who handle our online credit card payment, and you don't need to have a paypal account. See demo here.

Question C2: I don't want to summit any credit card information through internet. Is there any other way to pay?

Please download a credit card authorization form and forward to us along with supporting documents (please download here). We can process it here without going through internet.
